When Two Become One: How Macarons + Algorithms Created One Unforgettable Evening

On paper, a consulting firm and a bank price optimization software don’t make a sexy duo. However, by concentrating on the best of both companies — the art of consulting for Accenture and the unparalleled math for Nomis — we created a dining experience like no other.

The modernist cocktails, unique venue, and TopChef-prepared meal alone made for an enviable evening. But it was the invitations that sealed the deal.

Prior to the event, we sent each guest a beautifully packaged, custom invitation, containing five different macarons. Now for the science bit: we created an algorithm that used guests’ taste rankings to predict and design a personalized dessert on the event night.
