In 2018, our agency was ready to take our experience and for the first time, expand outside of the U.S. With our eyes set on Dubai, we embarked on establishing an office that would provide true brand engagement in a region known for its spectacular architecture and over-the-top events yet hungry for fresh thinking rooted in metrics and personal interaction. What better way to start than through a launch party for 250 hand-selected guests across brands, media and the government?

The dream-themed party was designed to transport guests from the outside world into a whimsical, multi-sensory space, featuring everything from an ethereal infinity room and edible “forest floor” dessert display to a lush mocktail wall where guests could reach through for themed drinks.

To physically represent the marriage of our two cultures, we intertwined truffle trees, made up of DC’s iconic Cherry Blossoms and the yellow Tribulus Omanense of the UAE. And in the center of it all was a “blooming” origami Tree of Dreams that captured real-time feedback from our guests, a nod to our insight driven, strategy-led foundation.
